2011 JV Champs

UC JV Blue Devils were knocked out of winners bracket by Elizabethton in the first game of the tournament on Thu, Apr 28 by a score of 9-8.
After moving to losers bracket, JV won by forfeit over Happy Valley on Sat, Apr 30.

On Mon, May 2, JV win a tight game 9-8 over Sullivan East. WP: Hunter Burnett and Adam Hensley came in to finish the game.

UC move into the championship with Elizabethton on Thu, May 5, having to win 2 games.

In game 1, UC JV win over Elizabethton, 11-3 to force a game 2. Connor Simpson got the win on the mound. Hunter Burnett led the team hitting with a HR, 2 doubles and a single.

In game 2, UC JV win a see-saw battle 9-8. Eli Cutshall got the win on the mound. UC was the home team and in the bottom of 7th, with the game tied at 8-8, Taylor Lafever steals home on a pass ball to win and claim the JV Tournament crown for 2011.
